Progress tracking

Progress tracking in Marylebone, London means your course is reported session by session from your wearable data and your repeated NayaScore, so you find out early whether treatment is working.

Wearable ring data reviewed at the Naya clinic, UNTIL Marylebone

The short answer

What progress tracking is

Most treatment is reviewed by asking how you have been. That works badly over weeks, because memory follows mood, and a bad Tuesday can rewrite a good fortnight.

So a course here is reported as it goes. Your wearable records heart rate variability and sleep continuously between appointments. Your NayaScore is repeated during the course. Your clinician sets both against your own baseline and tells you what has moved.

The point of that is not reassurance. It is that you find out early whether this is working, including when it is not. If the numbers are flat, you will hear it from us while there is still time to change the plan or stop.

Areas treated

Why a course is measured as it runs

  • You find out early whether treatment is working, rather than at the end of a paid course
  • Continuous wearable data between appointments, instead of a single reading in a clinic room
  • Progress set against your own baseline, not against an average for your condition
  • Session by session reporting, so a flat run of weeks is visible while it can still be acted on
  • A clinician who will say plainly which changes matter and which are ordinary variation
  • Your results are kept, so a later course starts from your real history

Patient journey

What progress tracking involves

Consultation & preparation

Wear the ring as much as you comfortably can, including overnight, because sleep supplies some of the most useful heart rate variability data. Charge it on a routine you will actually keep rather than an ideal one, since a habit that lasts beats a perfect week followed by a fortnight of gaps. Tell your clinician about anything that will move the numbers for reasons other than treatment: a long-haul flight, a bout of illness, a change of medication, a week of poor sleep. Gaps in the data are not a problem, but unexplained ones are.

During treatment

Aftercare

Your clinician reviews the wearable data and the session log at each appointment and talks the mid-course reassessment through with you rather than sending you a score to interpret alone. If a review shows nothing has shifted, you will be given the options plainly, including stopping. Your baseline and your results are kept, so a later course starts from your real history rather than from memory. This is not an emergency monitoring service; contact the clinic if something changes sharply, or call 111 out of hours.

Progress tracking questions

What is actually tracked?

Three things. Continuous heart rate variability and sleep from a wearable ring between appointments. Your repeated NayaScore, covering grip strength and cognitive testing across twelve domains. And a session log of the dose delivered and how you tolerated it. All are compared against your own baseline.

What happens if my numbers are not moving?

You will be told, and you will be told mid-course rather than at the end. Not everyone responds to stimulation. Your clinician will put the options to you: a change of target, a change of protocol, or stopping. We would rather recommend stopping than sell you the rest of a course.

Do you monitor me between sessions?

The ring records continuously, and your clinician reviews that data at your appointments rather than watching it live. This is not an emergency monitoring service and it will not detect a crisis. If something changes sharply between sessions, contact the clinic, or call 111 out of hours.

Who sees my data?

Your clinical team here, and anyone else only with your consent, such as your GP or your own therapist. We do not sell it and we do not use it for advertising. Our privacy notice sets out what is held, on what basis, for how long, and how to ask for a copy.

How often will I get an update?

Every session gives you something immediate, because the log and how you tolerated the dose are discussed there and then. The fuller picture comes at your mid-course reassessment, when the repeated NayaScore is set against your baseline and your clinician talks you through what has moved and what has not.
